Yoga Therapy for Cancer with Nina

I have been privileged to partner with The Pink Place Cancer Charity since 2021, and have witnessed first hand the incredible work that this small, local charity provides to those living in our community affected by cancer diagnosis. 

I volunteer my time as a fully qualified Cancer Yoga Therapist and hold weekly, tailored classes to a truly inspirational group of wonderful ladies of all ages, whose lives have literally been turned upside down due to their cancer diagnosis.

Yoga is so beneficial to them, helping to maintain health and wellbeing by bringing a positive impact on the physical body, helping to build strength and a sense of calmness to help quieten the nervous system, whilst learning how to respond to thoughts and feelings during and after diagnosis and treatment. 

My Yoga classes compliment the overall ethos of the charity; providing a holistic approach to treat the person as a whole, using a wide range of Wellbeing Services, Complementary Therapies, Mindfulness, Counselling and support to those affected by this terrible disease.

I want to make a difference and am keen to raise vital funds to help ensure The Pink Place can continue to provide their services long into the future.

The Pink Place is a registered charity which provides FREE wellbeing services, complementary therapies, counselling, Mindfulness classes, yoga therapy and Peer Group support to women affected by any type of cancer. Based in Basingstoke, our range of services are available to women in North Hampshire and the surrounding areas.
